The December stories at the main Flying Circus of Physics web site include:
(1) The viral video showing a rowdy young man riding a fire extinguisher down a subway aisle as the fire extinguishing material is shot out the rear of the extinguisher.
(2) Reflections on the appearance of mirrors in two famous oil paintings.
(3) The sport of camel jumping in which a young man jumps over side-by-side camels, up to five or six at a time.
(4) Pub trick of the month---can you pick up an open container of uncooked rice by using a common wood rod? This is a tricky puzzle that can win many pints.
(5) My old magazine article about the curious physics that can be seen in a cup of coffee or tea, the subject of many publications, including one by Albert Einstein.

At the Facebook site for Flying Circus, I’ve just posted another of my appearances on The Daily Planet show of Discover Channel Canada. This video has to do with the pub trick of picking up an open container of uncooked rice by using only a wooden rod (a common wooden spoon).

Hi, loved the book, great blog only one issue that I find annoying. Please add a title to the posts. It would look better in a feed reader than (title unknown) and make reading the articles on the site a lot easier.
Other than that your work is really inspiring.
Good idea. Thanks.
Hi ...
I found your blog really interesting .
I'm a student and I love physics.
Unfortunately I don't know how could I buy the book "Flying circus of physics" ...
What should I do?
The Flying Circus of Physics book is available at Amazon.com.
@shershere I bought it from thebookdepository.com . I find it better than amazon since you can pay in multiple currencies.
