The April stories at the Flying Circus of Physics web site: (1) In a football (soccer) free kick, the ball must be kicked around a wall of opposing players and then into the goal. How do you get the ball to follow such a curved path? (2) A hangun fires a bullet into ice on the ground. Can the bullet really ricochet and end up spinning like a top on the ice, as shown in seveal videos? (3) Can you pour beer from a height of several meters without splashing, as shown in a recent video? (5) My old article about the physics behind pumping a playground swing to get it going. Come to www.flyingcircusofphysics.com .
