Stories at www.flyingcircusofphysics.com for Oct 09:
1. High-speed collisions: an F4 Phantom jet slams into a concrete wall at about 480 miles per hour and a battering ram slams into a small car at about 650 miles per hour. Great fun.
2. How technicians are carried up to a high-voltage power line to repair it while it is at full voltage. Why aren't they killed?
3. Why did the sky turn red for Australians last month?
4. Pub trick of the month: matchstick rocket
