The November stories at the FCP site: (1) The third-order rainbow (illustrated at the left of my figure here) was rumored to have been seen several times in the last several hundred years but never confirmed. However, recently it was actually photographed, and then shortly later, the fourth-order rainbow was photographed (it too is at the left of my figure). (2) How to demonstrate that some types of breakfast cereals are magnetic. (3) Some amazing balancing acts by excavators as they climb off of or onto turcks and even railroad cars. (4) Pub trick of the month: how to convert a small beer into a large beer (or, more to the point, how you can be fooled into paying more for the large beer). (5) My old article about seeing a great many rainbows from a single drop of water.
